Biography

Rick Johnson is a native of Southern Illinois and graduated from Eastern Illinois University with a bachelor’s degree in communications. After graduation, Rick started working in Evansville, Indiana as a life and health insurance agent covering Indiana and Kentucky. He was later promoted to Field Manager for the Midwest region, and within a few years became Office Manager of the Evansville office. In 2005, Rick was promoted to President and CEO of that agency and continued its growth until his retirement in October of 2014. Rick returned to Southern Illinois when his wife was transferred to Marion and started working as a professional liability insurance broker with Diederich Healthcare in July 2016. He is the proud father of two boys and has been married to his college sweetheart since 1990.
